Having Superpowers Doesn't Make A Superhero

China halted its cooperation with the United States in response to Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan, and it has raised a significant amount of concern among climate diplomats. The United States and China are the world’s two largest carbon emitters, producing about 40% of the global greenhouse gas emissions. Their collaboration is crucial for addressing climate change. At the 2021 COP26 the United States and China made progress by agreeing to work together to reduce emissions. Having two superpowers agree to go forth in making changes for the progression of lowering emissions inspired other countries to do the same. This adds significance to the situation.
